You have full control as you can set the transparency individually and fade the flags in and out depending on the camera zoom.

If you appreciate manual camera control to keep an eye on every detail, you will no doubt be familiar with the problem of losing focus from time to time. But now there's a solution - with just one click, you can automatically guide the camera back to the action. This smart function is your secret weapon for always keeping the perfect focus point and avoiding the annoying search for it.

Before the actual travel route starts, quickly set a breathtaking tracking shot at the starting point and a monumental end credits at the end. No problem, choose with just one click from 23 fly in/fly out animations. Whether it's a spinning globe, impressive camera zooms or wacky tracking shots, every taste is catered for. The Fly In/Fly Out animations are also ideal for displaying text in the opening or closing credits.

The flat map mode has also been thought of, here you have 18 Fly In/Fly Out animations each at your disposal. 

Vasco da Gama 19 now supports importing your own land masks. You like to work with detail maps, such as city maps, and want a more precise separation between land and water for the representation of water waves. Now you can import a map for the land mask in addition to the detail map and thus display the water areas exactly without the water waves spilling over the land.

With our new update, we have expanded the editor area to its full width, giving you even more room for your ideas. This allows you to edit routes and place text and objects without restrictions. No space remains unused, use the full resolution of your monitor. In the main settings, you can choose between the classic view and the full width at any time, depending on what best suits your creative workflow.

What counts for ocean waves also applies to the clouds. Individual settings for cloud height, wind direction, wind strength and cloud type offer you a wide range of design options. Take off with the plane below the clouds, when you reach the flight altitude you break through the cloud cover and fly towards your travel destination in the bright sunshine. 

One of the great highlights of Vasco da Gama are the ocean waves. Vasco da Gama 19 now offers you many new, individual options for adapting the display. Adjust the wave height or wave direction to get the effect you want. You can also turn the reflections on the water on or off according to your personal preferences. 

Suntime - dynamic sun setting with just a few clicks

You keep every moment of the scene in view and thus enjoy working with many camera angles. With the new function for dynamic sun setting, you can only select the respective time of day at key positions; the times of day are calculated automatically for all other camera points. No more cumbersome adjustments at many camera points is required. In this way you get a spectacular course of the sun in your travel film with just a few settings.

Immerse yourself in our freshly designed layers that take city names, country borders, city lights and the land mask to a whole new level. Thin lines accentuate the country borders, while city lights shine with even more detail. We also offer two exciting variants for displaying city names. Our land mask is up to date and depending on your selection, all layers up to level 10 are available. Give your route animations that certain something with these sophisticated improvements.

The popular Easy flight mode now has a counterpart. Easy motorcycle mode is intended for all motorcycle fans who enjoy an inclined position when cornering. Just one click and the motorcycle automatically leans into every curve. What fun! And of course it's also suited for bicycles. 

Create automatic takeoffs and landings for your flight, as well as all curve and tilt movements with just one click. Based on the route, the altitude is automatically calculated, and this can be easily adjusted if necessary.
